WebJul 11, 2008 · My first shaving brush, back in the mid 1950's, was an Ever-Ready PB250 which was a pure badger brush that cost $2.50. (Big bucks to a teen-ager who pumped gas for $.50/ hr.). I just aquired this brush. It was unused until now. The bottom of the brush handle reads "Set in Rubber; Ever-Ready; 750; Pure Badger; Made in USA".
